As I watched all of the flooding across Central Texas today, a few verses came to mind.
Philippians 4:19
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
And Matthew 7:25
The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against the house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
Today I ask that you pray for the people in Central Texas that were affected by the flooding. There are already people lending hands to help provide the needs for those impacted.
I have some amazing friends that roll their sleeves up and get to work to help people who have been affected in these situations. I am particularly grateful for their service and their love of God to reveal the foundation from which they are moved to meet the needs. They truly are God’s Hands and Feet.
